Creams, lotions, gels and shampoos depend on well-made emulsions and dispersions. The equipment that makes them has to deliver enough shear to reach a fine, stable droplet size, heat and cool the batch on a controlled curve and discharge thick products without leaving waste in the vessel.
Many personal care plants run a large number of small batches, so fast cleaning and reliable changeover are as valuable as capacity. Vacuum-capable mixers remove air that would otherwise spoil appearance and stability, and inline units help scale up a formula that works in the lab.
